In a previous life I worked in the scrapbooking industry and spent a year as an events coordinator for the craft magazine Creating Keepsakes. While there my coworkers and I decided we needed to go see Wicked while it was playing there. I also lucked out because my mom came along and we were able to spend some quality time together exploring the city.
I loved the shopping on Michigan Avenue, you really don’t get shopping like that in Utah although I am so happy that since 2008 Utah has a Cheesecake Factory, IKEA, Sephora, and this fall there is an H&M and Crate & Barrel! Two of my very favorite stores!
I instantly fell in love with this chair, if it weren't totally unrealistic, I would have bought it right then!
My favorite purchase in the Windy City was a silver necklace from Tiffany & Co. it was my first time inside the iconic store and wanted something to remember my visit, my trip and as a reminder of that time in my life. You can see a photo here in the International Travel Challenge.
