In March 2009 I was selected to participate in a research trip with my school to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC.
This is a view from the USHMM of the Washington Monument, I loved the cherry blossom trees, granted we were there a few weeks early, they were still beginning to bloom everywhere.
My first time in DC was a quick drive through on a business trip in Virginia so I was thrilled to be going back and actually get out of the car to see the city.
We spent the vast majority of our week in the archives at the USHMM but each night we would adventure though the city.

I went to DC Jan of this year and LOVED it. It was freezing but I had such a blast. We took a tour of the capitol, went through the Holocaust Museum, played with all the sites on at the Washington Mall (which btw why would you call a bunch of monuments a mall? It definitely is not like the mall I'd prefer to go to), and got to have a few drinks at some fun clubs out there too! I even made a few new friends!
I enjoyed it very much :) We should together next time!

Hi Tommy! It would be so fun to travel with you! I think The Group needs to start thinking about coming to visit me in Korea next year! How fun would that be!?!
Did you like the Holocaust Museum? Did you go to Arlington?
