Day 1: Favorite place(s) you've been to?
This of course is the easiest to ask and hardest to answer. Thats like choosing your favorite star or your favorite song... I just can't commit like that.
So I am just sharing three. (but honestly I could write about why each place I went to is my favorite)
Kauai, Hawaii
I've never been anywere like Kauai, after a couple days I knew I'd be back... I just don't know how long I'll be staying!
Stonehenge
I was excited to go to Stonehenge but it was so much cooler once we got there. For starters its right off a little road that I'm sure plenty of people pass everyday! I think that's what surprised me most, it wasn't far away, difficult to get to or hard to see... but it was magical to be there enveloped in mystery and wonder.
Masada & The Dead Sea is situated atop an isolated rock cliff at the western end of the Judean Desert, overlooking the Dead Sea.
Masada is an old fortress used as King Herod's home and place of refuge during the Revolt of the Jews against the Romans in 73 CE. As an american this kind of history and culture is less prominant and it was thrilling to walk through it. It is quite the climb up to visit it, I can't imagine how Herod and his people even thought it would be worth the effort to get up there much less make a home out of it!

Then there was the dead sea. I was extremely excited to go here! big one of my bucket list for sure!
Instead of listing all the interesting things about the dead sea I would recommend going here instead.
